A Boy and a Girl

Our sweet girl has more and more of a desire to care for her baby dolls lately.  It's so precious to see the mothering instincts God has given her!  She sometimes expresses concern that a baby doll might have a boo-boo and gently pats it, saying "it's okay, baby."  She'll lay her baby down in her crib and say "night night, baby."  She likes to take her baby on a walk in the stroller or read to her.  She recently started changing her babies' diapers.  Here she is feeding her baby "yogurt."

And here she is putting pretend creme in her baby's hair as mommy puts creme in her hair!

Little man loves to play with cars, trucks and trains.  They've definitely taken over as his toy of choice.  He can play with them for a looooong time.

He has some tonka trucks in his room that he likes to line up in a row.  They just fit on his sports table (a great hand-me-down from our friends Maddy and Rivers Frantz!).

His favorite pose is lying down so he can get a good view of the wheels as he rolls a car or truck back and forth on the floor.

We love to see their personalities coming out as they get older!  It's such fun having a boy and a girl at the same age.  God has been so good to our family!
