Our dear friends Scott and Angela Van Neste are an inspiration to us. You've heard me talk about them before. They have four biological children, they've adopted two girls through the foster care system and they've also adopted twins from Ethiopia. Yup, that's eight children, all ages 12 and under.
When they first heard about the twins, they were told that the girl probably had Down's Syndrome. And they still decided to adopt them. After they got home and had tests done they found out that she does not have Down's after all. She had been severely malnourished, but praise the Lord, now she is thriving.
Their adoption video of the twins is so good I had to share it here. One of my favorite parts is the picture of the welcome home sign that their older siblings made for them, which says "Welcome Home, Isaiah and Hannah. I love y'all. You are part of the family."
Oh how we love the Van Nestes!
