We can't share pictures or too many details in publicly accessible places online for a few months while the adoption court process is still finalizing... but suffice it to say that for the past month we have been enjoying being a family of FIVE! God has been so kind to us. If you haven't seen our new little one yet, feel free to comment or send me an email and I'd love to share pictures!
Our resident Hebrew scholar says that baby girl's name means "Who is like the Lord God," and I love this passage of Scripture in relationship to God's work in her life in giving her to our family.
Psalm 113:5-9 Who is like the LORD our God, who is seated on high, who looks far down on the heavens and the earth? He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap, to make them sit with princes, with the princes of his people. He gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyous mother of children. Praise the LORD!At her birth mother's request, her middle name means "He who the Lord helps," which is equally meaningful.
Psalm 126:3 The Lord has done great things for us; we are glad.
