10 Poorest Countries in the World

A report was recently released naming The Democratic Republic of Congo the fourth poorest country in the world. It states that over 71% of Congolese people live in poverty, with the annual household income being $231/year....the poorest in the world. Health and education are very poor in the country. Out of 1,000 children born, 111.7 will die before their first birthday, which is the highest rate in the world except for Sierra Leone. Primary school enrollment of just slightly over 33% is the second worst in the world. Congo has been named the worst, most unsafe place in the world for women.
